Em (they/them) is a proudly queer nonbinary artist, putting the "Em" in "ThEm's Earrings". They have been creating jewelry since they were 11, loving the meditative creative process and the vast potential for self- expression. They took a break from creating for a while, only to rediscover their love of jewelry-making at the beginning of the pandemic, when ThEm's Earrings was born.

Making jewelry has become a healing practice for Em, using their jewelry-making as a means of exploring and expressing their queerness and gender identity.

Em started their business, ThEm's Earrings, to create jewelry that's accessible to all gender identities, jewelry that celebrates queerness and gender-expansiveness in joyful, colorful, playful ways. With all the challenges that LGBTQIA+ individuals face on a daily basis, Em believes in the power and importance of queer and trans joy, and uses jewelry to spark this joy.
